Mobile Breast Prosthesis Services – caring for the Fraser Coast. This is a mobile service for the Fraser Coast and surrounding areas and it is a service for women who have undergone surgery for breast cancer. This is a free mobile service with no fees charged to consult in your home. The only costs involved are on purchasing your breast form, or other products, with the breast form being eligible for a rebate of up to $400 through Medicare. Also an authorised supplier for Department of Veterans' Affairs. I have been involved with Breast Prosthesis fitting for the past 20 years. I am a fully qualified Corsetiere Prosthesis fitter, with a Diploma of Professional Counselling. I recognise the need for women to have an option of a more convenient and personalised service in our area and am excited to offer this in-home fitting service. At times it can be difficult to come into a store, perhaps due to feeling unwell from chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment, or you may have concerns of confidence or privacy. I offer, to you the client, absolute confidentiality in all matters and a commitment to maintain the highest standards while giving you appropriate and qualified advice about your breast prosthesis. I understand the importance of regaining and redefining your self image, and obtaining a breast prosthesis is an important part of a woman's recovery. My aim is to make the fitting a supported and pleasurable experience while choosing a prosthesis that best suits your body and lifestyle in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Options of fitting at my home office are also available, if this suits your requirements.
